The poultry project generates income for the Mabale Community through the sale of chickens and eggs. The project benefits the community through increased employment creation.

The community especially the Support group is able to meet its financial obligations towards clinic and hospital visits in order not to default in their ARV medication. Further the poultry project enables the community to boost their protein intake by eating the chicken lean meat and eggs.

The poultry project has seen the development of community members through wealth creation from the proceeds of the poultry project. The community has been able to buy goats from the proceeds of the poultry projects.
